The difference between seamless elbow and straight seam elbow fittings  

Elbow pipe fittings are mainly divided into seamless elbow and straight seam elbow.  The difference between the two elbow fittings is mainly in raw materials. Seamless elbow fittings are made of seamless steel pipe, and straight seam elbow fittings refer to elbow fittings made from butt welded steel pipe.  

Straight elbow is also known as butt welding elbow pipe fittings. The difference between butt welding elbow and straight seam elbow pipe fittings is that butt welding elbow has two welds, while straight seam elbow pipe fittings have one weld, while seamless elbow pipe fittings have no weld.  Seamless elbow pipe fittings are mainly divided into the following points: light weight, good heat resistance, good corrosion resistance, good heat preservation, good impact resistance, long service life and so on.  

Butt welding elbow and seamless elbow pipe fittings are one of the pipe fittings, the use of seamless elbow pipe fittings is mainly to connect the pipe pipe parts, according to the continuous method can be divided into intubation fittings, threaded pipe fittings, elbow pipe fittings and welding pipe fittings.  

The commonly used seamless elbow pipe fittings are replaced by hot push elbow pipe fittings. In some specifications, the elbow is too thin or too thick due to the small quantity of production.  

Seamless elbow pipe fittings in the production requirements are made by pushing machine and grinding tool push molding process. At present, the seamless elbow pipe fittings produced by pushing machine have uniform wall thickness, which can continuously make customized seamless elbow pipe fittings, that is to say, batch manufacturing.  It is also a relatively advanced manufacturing technology for seamless elbow pipe fittings.  

Seamless elbow pipe fittings are mainly used in chemical and petroleum pipeline installation, seamless elbow pipe fittings use the push machine production process introduced above: put the tube blank into the mold, up and down the mold, under the push of the hydraulic cylinder, the tube blank along the inner mold and the outer mold reserved gap movement two make the forming process.  The outer die cold extrusion process is used to produce beautiful shape elbow pipe fittings.
