304 and 316 stainless steel elbow material difference
Our company produces stainless steel elbow pipe fittings of different materials, such as 304 and 316 stainless steel elbow pipe fittings. Stainless steel elbow pipe fitting refers to the stainless steel elbow pipe fitting used for pipe connection at the turn, connecting two pipes of the same or different nominal size to make a 90° turn.
Stainless steel elbow ball valves, globe valves, gate valves, only fully open or fully closed, not allowed to adjust the flow, so as not to seal.
Long-term storage of stainless steel elbow, should be regularly checked, often exposed processing surface must be kept clean, remove dirt, neatly stored in the indoor ventilated dry place, is prohibited to pile or open storage. Always keep the stainless steel elbow dry and ventilated, keep the retainer clean and tidy, according to the accurate storage method.
304 stainless steel: common stainless steel material, high temperature resistance of 800 degrees, with good processing performance, high toughness, widely used in industry, furniture decoration, food industry. 304 is a universal stainless steel, widely used in the manufacture of equipment and parts requiring good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance, formability). To maintain the corrosion resistance inherent in stainless steel, the steel must contain at least 18% chromium and at least 8% nickel.
316L stainless steel: 316L is an American standard grade of stainless steel. The corresponding stainless steel standard is 022Cr17Ni12Mo2. "L" in 316L indicates that 316L is a material with lower carbon content than 316 in the same series. "L" means Low in English.
Mechanical properties of 316L stainless steel: tensile strength σ B (MPa) : ≥480; Conditional yield strength σ0.2 (MPa) : ≥177; Elongation δ5 (%) : ≥40; ψ (%) : ≥60; Hardness: ≤187HB ≤90HRB ≤200HV; Density: 8.0g/cm3; Heat capacity ratio (20℃) : 0.502J/(g*K)
